NEUROSURGERY

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Sendcomplete tomography

  • DICOM formatno modifications

  • The tomography should bemore recent possible (never exceed 6 months) to ensure anatomical correspondence.

Cuts: axial

Area: Full head circumference and a 1 cm margin

Maximum cutting thickness: 1mm

Maximum Cutting Spacing: 1mm

Gantry Tilt: 0º Bone and soft tissue filter

Area: Complete pelvis with a margin of at least 1 cm to the middle of the diaphyseal region of the femur. If the patient has a prosthesis, include the entire region affected by the prosthesis. Include contralateral limb.
